DESCRIPTION:Looking to get more involved with Out Of The Garden Project or just need some extra volunteer hours?\n\nSign up to volunteer at one of our Fresh Mobile Markets - Food Drops! This is an incredible experience to meet our community and see what OOTGP is all about. \n\nOur Fresh Mobile Markets take place at 4 - 5 high need schools and food deserts every week. We distribute between 40 – 60 Ibs of food per family. Depending on the site we have between 50 - 80 families at each fresh mobile market. This food includes shelf-stable food from the government\, bread/dessert\, milk/juice\, fresh produce\, pizza\, and meat. We give away more frozen food as we have it. \n\nEach FMM shift lasts between 1 - 1.5 hours. Heavy lifting is involved but can be avoided if you aren’t able.\n\nOnce you have signed up for a shift(s) you will be contacted by our Volunteer Coordinator with further instruction as well as the location of your shift(s).
